LOVE this cutie little movie—so corny but a fun loving movie that you can watch again and again!~
4 Stars solid romantic comedy
This is pretty standard romantic comedy fare. It basically boils down to one woman making a choice between two men. Yes, it’s predictable, which is not necessarily a bad thing in this genre. You’ll know right away which guy she’ll end up with, but it’s the guy you want her to end up with and there are some light moments along the way.
The DVD also has some trailers and a making-of featurette.

Just how far will a couple go in the pursuit of love? Chantal Stacy(Sandra Dee) has just married a successful, talented phtographer Eugene Wright(Bobby Darin). On the advice of her mother, Chantal begins a regime to change her man into the perfect husband. However, he soon becomes aware of her female wiles and answers with some jealousy-baiting tactics of his own. You can see that this is the real battle of the sexes; but, in a funny and enterting manner.

This is one of the most charming movies of the sixties…and it really shows the mind-set of the women of the day; (and the tips still work on how to “get and hold a man”!)
5 Stars If A Man Answers
This is an old SAndra Dee - Bobby Darin movie from the 60s. I have always thought it was one of the funniest movies I ever saw and it has some interesting ideas on relationships, like the idea is that your attitude changes, not your partner’s.
I have a painful disease and laughter always helps.
I think anyone would enjoy this movie.
5 Stars If A Man Answers
I am nearing 60; but I must confess I enjoyed this movie as much today as I did when I was 13. Sandra Dee was adorable; Bobby Darin was funny and Stephanie Powers was still annoying. Quality of the DVD was excellent!

I bought this for my 21-year-old daughter who I thought could benefit from the message in the film. To my surprised we laughed through the whole film and had a great discussion afterwards. She was going to send it to her recently engaged girl friends. Great fun and socially educational.

Best 1950s Sexual Education Vintage Film Social Sex Attitudes in Adolescence DVD 1953

Social Sex Attitudes in Adolescence follows Mary and Bob from infancy all the way to their courtship and marriage in order to demonstrate the importance of family life. A prototypical 1950’s social guidance film, the focus is on convention (Bob is a football player) and proper conduct at every point. From their perfect families, Mary and Bob are sure to come together - so long as Mary can avoid the parked car groping from men of lesser character! The perfect film to learn about the way sex and culture were perceived in 1950’s America, Social Sex Attitudes in Adolescence is a classic vintage movie.

Love Secrets with Barbara De Angelis Ph D

The Love Doctor is definitely in throughout this peppy program that’s a cross between a gabby Oprah and a dazzling infomercial. The “doctor” would be Barbara De Angelis, PhD, a much-published relationship expert who’s also a polished performer (she was once a magician’s assistant to then-husband Doug Henning). In Love Secrets, her cheerleading monologue is filled with colorful analogies that try to help listeners understand, communicate with, and, ultimately, have a much closer relationship with the opposite sex. She discloses common mistakes people make in intimate relationships and talks about how to create intimacy in, and out of, the bedroom. “Marriage isn’t a noun, it’s a verb,” she reminds. And Love Secrets is a complete sentence, a self-help “manual about love” that removes much of the mystery from the equation. –Valerie J. Nelson

4 Stars love secrets understood
Very informative and helpful advice on how to understand your lover/spouse. Great to have on hand whenever tensions develop within your relationship. DeAngelis uses visuals to help you understand how the opposite sex thinks in terms of what is important regarding work, sex and every day issues. Recommend this video to couples of any age, although it is a bit dated.
3 Stars Worth watching. Would have given it another star if,
It was only the second half. The first 30 minutes is just filler, but there is much that can be learned from the second half.
